Drive for St. Gabe’s Villa Fundraiser Event

The Drive for St. Gabe’s Villa event took place on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

in Sudbury. It was hosted by St. Joseph’s Foundation with Bélanger Ford Lincoln Centre and supported by Ford Canada.

Ford donated up to $6,000 for each test drive, with Bélanger Ford Lincoln Centre matching the donation dollar for dollar. The event included stops at Villa St. Gabriel Villa with live music and refreshments, plus a complimentary barbecue and live music at the dealership.

The fundraiser marked the 15th anniversary of Villa St. Gabriel Villa and the 55th anniversary of Bélanger Ford Lincoln Centre. The proceeds support enhanced music therapy and French music programming for 128 residents living at the Villa, many of whom have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
